Restore Your Smile with Implants
Dental implants are natural-looking prosthetic teeth that allow you to eat all your favorite foods. They’re surgically placed, so they won’t come out when you’re talking or eating.
Dr. Syed has implant solutions to restore one or more missing teeth or even a whole arch. Find out how you can look and feel your best with a beautiful new smile today.
Our Dental Implant Solutions
When you meet with Dr. Syed for your consultation, he’ll help you find the best solution for your smile. If you’re living with one or more damaged or missing teeth, we’ll use our advanced diagnostic equipment to determine the best way to restore your smile.
Dr. Syed will go over your restoration options so you can make the best decision for your smile. If you choose dental implants, we’ll schedule your treatment calendar right away. We offer sedation dentistry to make sure you’ll be comfortable during the procedure.
Single Tooth Replacement
If you have a missing tooth, we’ll restore your smile with a dental implant that’s custom-made to blend in with the rest of your smile. It’s the same shape, size, and color as your natural teeth.
Restoring your smile with dental implants is an easy, two-step process. During your first visit, Dr. Syed will surgically place the implant fixture. This is the section of the implant that acts like the root of a natural tooth, firmly holding the implant in place.
Over the next few months, the bones in your jaw will develop a secure attachment to the fixture. When osseointegration is complete, you’ll return to our office so Dr. Syed can complete the process. He’ll attach the middle section called the abutment and then top it off with the attractive implant crown. Your crown is made from porcelain, so it’s strong and looks just like a natural tooth.
Options for Replacing More Than One Tooth
Dr. Syed can use dental implants to replace more than one missing teeth. If you have two or more missing teeth that are adjacent to each other, Dr. Syed may decide to restore them using an implant-secured bridge. This is a single prosthetic device that contains two or more prosthetic teeth known as pontics.
An implant-secured bridge is held in place with dental implants, providing exceptional comfort and chewing power.
Full Arch Replacement
How would you like to have a beautiful new set of teeth that will always stay firmly in place? That’s what you get with our full arch restorations, which can be used to replace one or both arches. We offer dental sedation to make the process as comfortable as possible.
This option is an outstanding alternative to traditional dentures because they’re permanent and they won’t restrict your diet. You’ll never have to remove your teeth for cleaning — instead, you just brush and floss them.
We use immediate load implants, allowing us to perform all the necessary surgery in just one day. That means you’ll leave our office after one visit with an attractive, fully functioning temporary prosthetic. As soon as you’re ready, you’ll return to our office so Dr. Syed can place your permanent restoration.
Dental Implant Candidacy
If you’re looking to boost your confidence, you may be a candidate for dental implants. You’ll be able to smile and talk more freely, which will improve your confidence in social settings.
Missing teeth impact your appearance, lifestyle, and oral health, but dental implants give you the freedom to live on your own terms. This will boost your self-confidence and you’ll never have to worry about your smile again.
How long do dental implants last?
How much do dental implants cost, and will my insurance cover them?
According to the New York Times, single tooth replacement typically costs between $3,000 and $4,500. Replacing a full or partial set of teeth generally ranges from $20,000 to $25,000.
It’s a good idea to contact your insurance provider to find out what portion of your implant care is covered. Our payment coordinator will be happy to speak with you if you have any questions about your coverage.
To make dental implants more affordable, we work with CareCredit, a private lender who provides low-interest and interest-free financing options.
How do I take care of my dental implants after the procedure?
You care for your implants the same way you protect your natural teeth, by brushing and flossing them every day. However, Dr. Syed recommends brushing with nonabrasive and gentle toothpaste as well as using nylon-coated floss.
Are dental implants safe?
There are some risks involved with any type of surgery, but implants are a very safe option. According to Mayo Clinic, “problems are rare” with dental implants “and when they do occur they’re usually minor and easily treated.”
What do I do in the event of a complication with my dental implants?
Dr. Syed will continue to monitor the progress of your implants during your regular checkups. However, if you experience any issues with your dental implants, contact our office immediately. Dr. Syed will see you as soon as possible to determine the best way to address the situation.
