The Fast & Easy Way
to Get a Perfect Smile

A beautiful smile will boost your confidence, and when you feel better about yourself, it will enhance your personal and professional relationships. Straightening your smile will also improve your oral health.

Many patients avoid seeking treatment for their crooked teeth because they don’t want to deal with the problems associated with metal braces. But Invisalign uses clear aligners to give you a beautiful smile.

With Invisalign, you’ll never have to hassle with metal brackets and wires, and the average treatment time is much faster than metal braces.

What Is Invisalign?

If you want to avoid the pitfalls of traditional metal braces, Dr. Syed offers a much more convenient way to straighten your smile. Invisalign is the inconspicuous alternative to braces that allows you to discreetly straighten your smile.

Invisalign’s clear thermoplastic aligners are custom-made to fit your smile, gradually guiding your teeth to the correct position. It typically takes about a year to 18 months to straighten your smile with Invisalign. This is up to twice as fast as the average treatment time using metal braces.

How does Invisalign work?

During your initial consultation with Dr. Syed, he’ll answer any questions you have and recommend the treatment that’s right for you. If you decide to go with Invisalign, we can get started right away. The first step is using our CBCT Cone Beam technology to take digital images of your teeth.

Dr. Syed will use these images to design your treatment plan, which he’ll share with Invisalign so they can begin making your aligners. Our digital technology also allows us to show you a simulation of what your smile will look like at the end of your Invisalign treatment.

Unlike metal braces, you can still eat all the foods you love and enjoy your favorite activities with Invisalign. That’s because you simply remove the aligners when it’s time for a meal. To protect your aligners, you can also remove them for activities such as playing a woodwind musical instrument or contact sports.

To achieve the best results, you’ll want to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. Invisalign doesn’t hurt the way braces can and they never need tightening, so there are fewer appointments required. You’ll visit Dr. Syed every six to eight weeks so he can track your progress and adjust your treatment plan when necessary.

Invisalign vs. Mail Order Aligners – There’s No Comparison

Invisalign has over 30 years of experience fixing smiles like yours, providing results that simply can’t be matched by inferior mail-order products. Invisalign’s durable, custom-fitted aligners use advanced SmartTrack® material to gently straighten your smile with unrivaled precision.

The biggest risk in using off-brand aligners is that you won’t have a professional dentist like Dr. Syed to monitor your progress and make sure they’re working properly.

Mail-order aligners put you at risk for significant problems and they can even make your smile more crooked. If the aligners are even a little bit off, it may cause serious damage to your oral health.

FAQs

Does Invisalign hurt?

Your aligners may feel a little bit uncomfortable at first. It usually takes patients about 48 hours to get used to them. After this brief adjustment period, you’ll hardly even notice that you’re wearing them.

Is Invisalign covered by insurance?

Insurance providers vary in the amount of coverage they provide for orthodontic care. The best way to find out what your coverage will be is to give us a call at (302) 994-3093.

We’ll be happy to go over your insurance benefits with you. We also offer helpful payment and financing options.

How do I clean and maintain my Invisalign aligners?

It’s really easy to take care of your aligners. For best results, the Invisalign cleaning system is recommended. You’ll also want to regularly clean your aligners with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and lukewarm water. Make sure to never expose your aligners to hot water because this can damage them.

Can I remove my braces and get Invisalign?

If you’re unhappy with your metal braces, talk to Dr. Syed about receiving Invisalign. He’ll evaluate your teeth and determine if clear aligners are a good alternative.

Is Invisalign removable?

Yes, but you’ll want to wear them for the recommended amount of time for best results.

Will Invisalign interfere with my diet?

No. You simply take them out before eating. Your Invisalign trays are completely removable, but we recommend wearing them for at least 20 to 22 hours a day.

How long does the Invisalign treatment take?

The Invisalign treatment process usually takes about 12 to 18 months to adjust your smile. The time of treatment varies depending on your individual treatment plan, but it’s typically much faster than metal braces.

What can I drink and eat while using Invisalign?

There are no restrictions on your diet with Invisalign.

Can I eat and drink beverages while wearing Invisalign?

It’s essential to remove your aligners before eating so you won’t damage them. Water is the only beverage you’ll want to drink while wearing your aligners because coffee, juice, and other beverages will stain them.

Can I drink alcohol while wearing Invisalign?

Water is the only thing you can drink while wearing your Invisalign trays without the risk of staining. We recommend you take out your aligners while drinking alcohol or brushing immediately after.
