Dr. Syed is
Personable. Professional. Passionate.
His family practice in Wilmington, DE, offers general dentistry, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including TMJ therapy and implants. He uses his knowledge, experience and an unyielding quest for the pursuit of success to create healthy, natural-looking smiles.
Dr. Syed graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Psychology and earned his DMD from Temple School of Dentistry. Dr. Syed completed his residency at the Christiana Care Hospital.
While studying with the prestigious Dawson Academy, he mastered the concepts of smile design, occlusal concepts, treatment planning & dental photography. He also finished an implantology continuum at Columbia University of Dental Medicine. He is truly a well-rounded dentist who loves his profession by striving to continue to update his education. Dr. Syed is a proud member of the American Board of Implantology (ABOI) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and holds dual board certifications in dental implant placement from both the American Board of Oral Implantology and the International Congress of Osseointegration.
Mastership Recognition
The AGD gives mastership recognition. The Academy of General Dentistry recognizes individuals who, in addition to having earned a Fellowship recognition by taking five hundred approved hours of continuing education and passing a comprehensive exam, have taken six hundred approved classes by the AGD.
The Mastership Award is the highest honour available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence. To accomplish this, Dr. Syed completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Syed has joined over 2208 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.
